3rd TCG Storage Plugfest and Compliance Workshop

The Storage Work Group of Trusted Computing Group kindly invites you to take part in the 3^rd TCG Storage Plugfest and Compliance Workshop scheduled for March 26-27, 2019, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Milpitas, California.

The Compliance Workshop event is intended to test the storage devices to the TCG Opal Family Test Cases, to certify the test suite for Opal, Ruby and Pyrite SSC, and to improve compatibility of TCG storage products. The Plugfest event is intended to allow the host systems, system integrators, ISV and device and test vendors to perform interoperability testing for Opal family products.

• For TCG storage products such as Opal, Ruby or Pyrite SSC, this is an opportunity for vendors to evaluate the candidate test suite for approval as a TCG certified test suite
• In addition, for Opal and Ruby SSC devices which pass compliance testing, they may apply to TCG for certification of these devices upon successful completion of Security Evaluation testing
• Device vendors will be encouraged to leave their devices with the Compliance Program Manager for retesting with the test suite in the event the test suite would need to be updated
• Attendance is open to all TCG members for the Compliance Workshop, and is open to TCG members and non-members for the Plugfest
• Compliance testing shall be against the TCG Storage Opal Family Test Cases Specification, Version 1.00, Revision 1.14 which can be found here

• The Compliance Workshop is open to TCG members only. The cost to attend is $1,000 per one hour time slot (up to two products per hour, per company). Additional hours may be purchased for $1,000 per hour.
• The cost to attend the Plugfest is free for TCG members, and $2,000 for non-TCG members.

All tests will be completed under mutual non-disclosure agreement, and all results will be kept confidential.
