Security Days 2025 – Tokyo

TCG Japan Regional Forum will be presenting at Security Days 2025 – Tokyo on Thursday, March 13 14:20-15:50.  The session will introduce the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), an organization that provides the foundation for security, in cooperation with a variety of IT companies and academic institutions, develops the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) specification. The TPM is widely used as an international standard and has been adopted by a wide range of companies and organizations, which plays an important role in strengthening supply chain security and ensuring device verification and authenticity. It is also drawing attention as an elemental technology for achieving zero-trust security. The Workshop topics will include an introduction to the technical details of TPMs and their specific use cases. It will also touch on the function of TPM in the fundamental security concept of Root of Trust.Furthermore, we will explain how relevant TPMs are to documents by the U.S. NSA and NIST and show how they are referenced in actual implementations.
